About Us
Armand's Harper Valley Farms is a diversified family farm. They primarily raise hogs, cattle, corn & soybeans. The genetic lines of their livestock date back to the 1940's when Albert's Grandfather moved from the Jefferson Proving Grounds to the Westport area.
When Albert was in high school, he bought the farm across the road from the family farm and diversified into raising about 20 acres of pumpkins and vegetable crops. Diane has been an active member of local farmers' markets in the area for the past 27 years. It is their hope to pass on their farm to the next generation.

Practices
Of utmost importance to the Armands' is farming using environmentally friendly practices. Albert has been using conservation practices on his field and pumpkin crops. He has numerous state and local awards for following good conservation practices.
Some would say Albert is "living the dream" because he gets to go out and play with his pigs every day. He checks on his livestock in the pasture and in the barns around the farm daily. He truly enjoys working with the animals.
